Description

The National Park Service, New River Gorge National River intends to award a purchase order to Boxley Aggregates of West Virginia for 8500 tons of sandstone gravel to be delivered to the Thurmond-Minden trail in Fayette County, WV on a non-competitve single source basis. After completing market research, posting RFQs and canvasing companies in Southern West Virginia, only one supplier responded and there is evidence to suggest there is only one contractor drawn to the proposed contract. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT IS FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. No formal RFQ will be available. The NAICS for the acquisition is 423320. All responsible sources may submit a quote, which will be considered by the Government. Responses should be submitted, via email or fax to Peggy Maddy at peggy_maddy@nps.gov, fax number is 304-465-0591, and must be submitted no later than February 22, 2006.
