Description

The Contractor shall furnish all supervision, labor, equipment, supplies, and materials to grade and compact the existing 3/4 inch crushed aggregate access road (approximately 2,275 linear feet) and then place approximately 2,275 linear feet of asphalt, three inches deep, on the Egin Lake's access road. The work is located in Fremont County, Idaho. This requirement is a 100% HubZone Set-Aside. The anticipated period of performance is 35 calendar days after receipt of the Notice to Proceed based upon a bid schedule consisting of Schedule A with a period of performance of 30 calendar days, plus Schedule B with a period of performance of 5 calendar days. Schedules will be listed in order of priority, and award will be made to the responsible bidder offering the lowest responsive bid for Schedule A, or Schedule A + B subject to the availability of funds. The estimated price range for Schedule A + B is between $100,000.00 and $250,000.00. Bonds will be required as follows: Bid Guarantee - 20% of the bid price, Payment and Performance bonds - 100% of the contract price. The solicitation will be available by electronic posting only and may be found at www.fedbizopps.gov. Bidders will be required to print the bidding documents for submission of their bids. The solicitation documents will be posted on or about 2/27/2006. Contractors are required to register or update their registration at the Central Contractor Registration website at www.ccr.gov in order to receive a contract award under this solicitation, and register or update their registration at the Online Representation and Certification Application website at http://orca.bpn.gov
