- Description
- The purpose of this amendment is to provide clarification to the following questions: Questions: 1. Is a full package available which would show all of the component parts and drawings? 2. Are these sub-tier Part Numbers/Drawings Numbers going to be provided? Answer: The complete drawings will not be available for the market survey. Please provide a rough order of magnitude. Question: In the list of qualifications item e, "List evidence of security procedures of handling Selective Availability Anti-Spoofing Module (SAASM) or classified software in accordance with DoD policy." Is this is a strict requirement? Answer: Yes, this is a strict requirement according to the market survey; our current plan is to have the contractor test the components as a system. In order to achieve this testing, the contractor will have to use crypto keys for the DAGR and PIK. In working with classified software the contractor must be in accordance with the DoD policy. Question: In reference to the build-to-print Enhanced Portable Inductive Artillery Fuze Setter (EPIAFS) production contract, are facility and individual security clearances required to manufacture the items? Answer: The manufacture of the EPIAFS does not require facility and individual security clearances. Question: Is the response due on 24 Feb, 2006 as noted on General Information section? Answer: Closing date is 24 February 2006. Question: Where would a contractor purchase a Defense Advanced Global Positioning System Receiver (DAGR)? Answer: Suggested Source for DAGR: Rockwell Collins General customer inquiries: response@rockwellcollins.com Domestic: 1-888-COLLINS (1-888-265-5467) International: 319.265.5467 Amendment 0001 attachment is specifications from suggested source of the Defense Advanced Global Positioning System Receiver (DAGR). Question: Please advise if existing molded housings, lids/covers of XM115 Setter 13000975 and PIK 13001082 will be available for purchase from existing sources or will molded parts require new sources. Answer: Molded parts will require new sources. The Government does not have a proven vendor at this time.
