OC-ALC/449HPSG/PKP (405) 739-4440. ITEM 0001: NSN 2840-01-146-9472JF, PN: 5050M72G05, NOUN: FLAME HOLDER AFTERBURNER, APPLICABLE TO THE F101-GE-102 ENGINE, B-1B ACFT. DELIVERY DESTINATION: TINKER AFB, OK 73145. DELIVERY BEGINNING April 2007 . QUANTITY RANGES FOR PRICING PURPOSES: (98 ? 148), (149 ? 195), (196 ? 245). BEQ IS 196 EACH; HOWEVER QUANTITY WILL BE DECIDED AT TIME OF AWARD. Anticipated solicitation date will be 23 FEBRUARY 2006. Anticipated response date will be 27 MARCH 2006. Anticipated award date will be 28 APRIL 2006. The solicitation will be posted to FedBizOps and should be obtained from there. Please do not call this office for a solicitation. Only written or faxed requests received directly from the requestor is acceptable. Qualification Requirements: Requires pre-qualification of sources to ensure reliability of the parts. Due to the complexity and criticality of the parts, only actual manufacturers that have successfully completed all testing required by the original company for the design, or manufacturers that have successfully completed all testing on items can be considered for approved sources for this item. The qualification requirements for this item were established prior to 19 October 1984 and the requirements of FAR 9.202(a) do not apply. Prequalification of sources is essential to maintain high quality and maximum operational safety. A Government First Article Test will be required if the contractor has not made this item within the past 36 months. Qualification requirements are set forth in OC-ALC Source Approval Information Booklet. Due to the complexity and criticality of this part, only actual manufacturers that have successfully completed all testing required by the original company responsible for the design, or manufacturers that have successfully completed all testing on items determined by the government to be similar in complexity and criticality, can be considered approved sources for this item. Interested parties may contact OC-ALC/BC, Tinker AFB, OK 73145 for Source Approval Requests (SAR) information. All responsible sources solicited may submit a proposal/quote/bid, which if timely, will be considered. The solicitation or procurement data listed below is approved for release to qualified contractors as specified in the International Traffic in Arms Regulation (ITAR), 22 CFR Sections 121 through 128. An Export License is required for release of any technical data relating to this contract to any foreign entity (See 22 CFR Section 125). Prospective contractors shall be registered in the CCR managed by the Defense Logistics Agency prior to award of a contract or agreement. An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential offerors during the proposal developmental phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the contracting officer or the program director but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to the source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
