Description: There is no solicitation. This is a notice of intent of the US Fish and Wildlife Service to issue a single source award to the Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff, AZ for sample preparation, and carbon, nitrogen and sulfur isotope analysis of invertebrates, fish, and organs, blood, eggs, and feathers of shorebirds from the San Francisco Bay for a CALFED funded study investigating the effects of mercury on avian reproductive success. Lipid extraction (muscle, liver, eggs) and solvent rinse (feathers) will also be required for a subset of samples prior to analysis.
