Description

Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to award a sole source contract for Consolidated Automated Support System (CASS) Operational Test Program Sets (OTPSs) to The Boeing Company based on the authority provided in FAR 6.302-1(a)(2). These OTPSs will allow the Navy to use CASS to support the WRAs and SRAs that are currently supported on the Intermediate Avionics Test Set (IATS). NAVAIR is contemplating a Firm Fixed Price Contract with a Base Year and (1) Option. The contract will provide for a minimum of 239 OTPSs and a maximum of 274. The Boeing Company is the sole designer and developer of the IATS and its associated TPSs. As such, Boeing possesses specialized knowledge of the IATS, the IATS TPSs, associated source code and data, as well as the CASS OTPS. There is no Technical Data Package. There are no detailed drawings. No solicitation document is available at this time. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement. If no written response is received within 15 days, a contract may be issued without further notice.
