- Description
- NOTICE: THIS AMENDS THE PREVIOUSLY ISSUED SOLICITATION NOTICE to add the following questions and answers: Typical Size: Ranges from 5 acres up to several hundred (could be 500 to 1000 acres) Geographic concentration: Scattered throughout the state-mostly northern one third of counties and then along the western side of the state down to Posey Co. Some in the southeastern portion. It is just hard to pin down the locations. Appraisers: In the past NRCS six different appraisals over the past several years- I would say that the bulk of the work was done by three of those six appraisers. The scenario of saying that three appraisers might do 30 appraisals in a given year would be the most accurate scenario of what has been done in Indiana. Time constraints: NRCS must complete appraisals and make offers on easements before June 1 , 2006. In the appraisal work in the past NRCS did not set specific turnaround times-but mostly typically the work was completed within a month or so. Any appraisals ordered under the proposed BPAs would have a definite delivery date of them. Clarification of the contract limitation stated in BPA Section A.4. Is it correct 1) that no appraisal or review appraisal will ever exceed $35,000 This means that no combination of appraisals ordered at one time will exceed $35,000. and 2) that in the 3 year term of the BPA the maximum of all appraisal contracts Clarion Associates Inc. would perform would not exceed $100,000 This means that we do not anticipate awarding more than $100,000 to any one appraiser during the three year period. However this was a sample BPA and we may change this statement when we actually award to say not more than $100,000 during a year.
