This is solicited as 50% Small Business Set-Aside and will result in a Firm Fixed Priced Contract. The Qty is 249,600 QT. This requirement includes a 100% Quantity Option. QAP 196 applies. In accordance with SPEC NR MIL-PRF-7808l, BASIC DTD 97 MAY 02, TYPE NUMBER GRADE 3. I/A/W STD NR MIL-STD-290F, REFNO DTD 00 JULY 17, TYPE NUMBER II SHELF LIFE 36 MONTHS. Unit Quart Can shall be of the following Dimension: 4-1/16? DIA X 5-9/16? HT or 401 X 509. Government Lot Acceptance Testing is Required. The issue date for the solicitation is 02/15/06 and the response/close date is 03/03/06. Automated Best Value System (ABVS) applies. FOB: Destination. Inspection and Acceptance at Origin. Requested Delivery is 80 Days. Quantity Variance is plus or minus 5%. The final contract award decision may be based upon a combination of price, past performance, and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation.
