- Description
- The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Lakehurst, NJ (NAWCADLKE) intends to negotiate a contract for the procurement of one (1) each of P/N 9000. Model 9000 Automated Two-Pressure Humidity Generator, which will include: Operating Software, 2 each operation manuals, Certificate of Calibration traceable to NIST, 15? power cable, 2 each cooling water hoses with quick disconnect couplings. The contractor shall supply all labor, equipment and consumable supplies to manufacture in its entirety. This requirement is for supplies for which the Government does not own specifications or drawings to permit full and open competition. The Government intends to procure from Thunder Scientific Corp. under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c ) (1), implemented by FAR 6.302-1 and under an approved Justification and Approval (J&A). Thunder Scientific Corp. is the only company with requisite knowledge and technical capability to manufacture the parts listed above. Firms that recognize and produce the required item described are encouraged to identify themselves. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which may be considered by the Government in determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The Government is anticipating a Firm Fixed Price type contract. Inspection and acceptance shall occur at source. All finished parts are to be shipped FOB Origin by September 1, 2006. In addition, the packing/packaging will be best commercial practice. All requests must be received within 15 days. Responses should reference N68335-06-R-0035.
