Description: The Lincoln National Forests, Smokey Bear Ranger District has a requirement for the reduction of tree densities and slash Treatment on 343.1 acres that qualify as Wildland Urban Interface (WUI). This includes furnishing labor, equipment, supervision, transportation, operating supplies, and incidentals. For this solicitation it is preferred that woody vegetation treatments be completed using mechanized equipment designed to push or extract designated vegetation. Slash-treatment will be implemented through piling created slash on site that is created as a result of thinning treatments.
