- The U.S. Army TACOM-Picatinny intends to award on a sole source basis with UGS Corp. Milford, OH for Software Subscription License Right to Use Support Renewal in accordance with 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302- 1 ???Only One Responsible Source...??? because UGS Corp. has proprietary software rights, copyrighted patent rights, and source codes required to access the software, and is the sole developer, distributor and manufacturer of CORE DRAFTING, I-DEAS SIMULATION SOLUTION S, MasterFEM Package, STEP Data Translator, ABAQUS DATA TRANSLATOR, ANSYS DATA TRANSLATOR, I-DEAS DURABILITY RESPONSE ANALYSIS, ADVANCED DURABILITY, and I-DEAS UPDATE TRAINING. The contractor will quote Monthly Cost for a period of performance of 16 months for each software listed above. Quantity is 1 each for all types of software. This notice is not a request for competitive quotations. All responsible sources, however, may submit a quotation that shall be considered by the agency.
