Description

Sources Sought. This Pre-Solicitation was previously incorrectly numbered N40085-05-B-2405. NAVFAC Mid-Atlantic is currently seeking potential sources for services at Naval Station, Norfolk, Virginia. The scope of work includes all labor, supervision, equipment, transportation, and management necessary to provide Twelve Transit type Buses for long-term lease to Navy Mid-Atlantic Transportation Department. This is a combined Firm Fixed Price / Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity Performance-Based Contract. This procurement will be handled under Sealed Bid Procedures. The Request for Proposal (RFP) will be for a period of one base year plus four option years. The Government may use the four option years to extend the contract for a period of one to 48 months. The total duration, including the exercise / award of any options, shall not exceed 60 months. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 532120, and the size standard is $21,500,000. This is not a request for proposal and no solicitation is available at this time. A market research is being conducted to determine interest and capability of potential sources from any 8(a), Service-Disabled, HUB Zone, or Small Business firms. All interested parties are invited to respond by registering at www.esol.navfac.navy.mil to download the market survey file. The due date for responses is May 27, 2005.
