Description

On behalf of the Trident Refit Facility, Naval Submarine Base, Kings Bay, GA, the Fleet & Industrial Supply Center, Jacksonville, Florida intends to award a firm fixed price contract for rebar double matting for the construction of a large concrete pad located at the Trident Refit Facility, Naval Submarine Base, Kings bay, GA. This procurement will include all of the rebar, highchairs and bends which are required to construct the pad. Delivery begins NLT 31 January 2006 and to be completed by 30 March 2006. Delivery schedule will be coordinated with the customer. The acquisition will be conducted under the NAICS code 331111. This is a small business set aside. The solicitation resulting from this announcement will be electronically available on or about 30 Dec 2005 to interested parties at http://www.fedbizopps.gov. Amendments issued to this solicitation will also be available at the website. All interested parties should request a copy of the bending schedule and the concrete pavement joint plan via telephone, fax or email request. Only vendors registered in Central Contractor Registration (CCR) will be considered for award. See www.ccr.gov for more information.
