Description

The presolicitation notice for the aforementioned RFP is amended to include clinical laboratory services. The following is a listing of clinical laboratory tests typically utilized by the FCI. It is not all inclusive, but should provide a reasonable estimate of the type and quantity typically used. PRO (Protime) 260 per year; PTT (Partial Thromboplastin Time)240; VB12 (Vitamin B-12) 25 per year; UA (Urinalysis) 125 per year; ANA (Anti-nuclear antigen) 25 per year; HCV RNA (Hepatitis C virus RNA determination) 75 per year; SED (Sedimentation Rate)50 per year; HIV RNA 100 per year; HEPB RNA (Hepatitis B virus RNA) 50 per year; Blood Count 50 per year; Drug HCG (Human Chorionic Gonadotrophin)50 per year; Culture (depending on the samples)100 per year; Chem Profile (Blood Chemistry Profile) 250 per year; Sensitivity Wound 100 per year; *(Culture and Sensitivity, usually for proper antibiotic treatments); Biopsy 80 per year The solicitation will be made available on or about February 15, 2006 and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration?s Federal Business Opportunities website at www.fedbizopps.gov. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. The site provides all downloading instructions to obtain a copy of the solicitation. All future information concerning this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. The anticipated date for receipt of proposals is on or about April 5, 2006. Faith-Based and Community-Based Organizations have the right to submit offers/bids equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which will be considered.
