Description

The General Services Administration (GSA) hereby issues this sources sought notice/market survey to locate qualified businesses capable of designing and manufacturing a highly specialized and detailed ?Fork Stacker? for use by the Smithsonian Museum Support Center located in Suitland, Maryland. The ?Fork Stacker? must meet the following requirements: (a) Fork Length----- 30?; (b) Fork Lowered Height----- 1?; (c) Fork Raised Height----- 72?; (d) Lifting Capacity----- 2000 pounds; (e) Min. working aisle width----- 6 feet. The stacker must be capable of operating safely in an alcohol rich environment (hazardous location). If the device is motorized or Hydraulic, the unit must be UL Listed or FM Approved for use in a Class I Division I location, in accordance with NFPA 70, Article 500. NAICS 333924. The Government will not pay for any materials provided in response to this synopsis and submittals will not be returned to the sender.
