THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION QUOTES. THIS IS A PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE/ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY. THE SOLICITATION WILL BE POSTED ON THE SAME WEBSITE ON OR AROUND FEBRUARY 6, 2006. Antietam National Battlefield, National Park Service is looking to procure a used articulating boom lift with the following requirements: Genie brand, or equal Articulating boom lift with jibe Maximum lift height of 46 feet but no less than 40 feet Four wheel drive Equipped with turf tires Gasoline powered or Gas/LP acceptable Aerial work basket with capacity for two workers and equipment (load capacity no less than 500 pounds) Basket requires turning capabilities Full 360 degree rotation of the turntable Fully operational from the platform/basket 1997 or newer model Must meet all 2005 OSHA requirements Must include operation and service manuals Seller must have equipment serviced and provide certification of servicing. Quoted price must include delivery to Sharpsburg, MD 21782. This procurement is open to all sized businesses in accordance with the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 423830. The solicitation will be available at http:ideasec.nbc.gov website on or about February 6, 2006. Telephone or fax requests for the solicitation will not be accepted. Contractors must register on the website in order to retrieve copies of the solicitation and any possible amendments. Instructions are contained on the website for downloading solicitations and attachments. It is the responsibility of all interested contractors to acknowledge all amendments to the solicitation.
