Description

This is Not A Request for Quotation. This is notification of the US Fish and Wildlife Services intent to issue a single source award for Floy Fish Tags for the Lahonton National Fish Hatchery. In 2003, the USGS oversaw fish-tagging operations for the Lahontan Fish Hatchery and procured sequentially numbered and specifically-designed fish tags. In 2004, the Service worked with the USGS and used the same type of tag designed and ordered by the USGS. The tags were custom-designed for the Service in order to prevent harm to the species, but durable to remain on the fish during its life. In order to continue the project, it is in the best interest of the government to use the same product and vendor. For 2006, tags will be .42 cents each.
