Description
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Philadelphia District is soliciting offers for services to remove and dispose of all contents of the after peak tank on the Dredge McFarland at Fort Mifflin, PA. The contractor shall furnish all labor, material and s ervices, including hoses (100 feet minimum) and fittings, required to remove and dispose of the material contained in the after peak tank, utilizing a portable pump. The material in the after peak tank is lubricating oil, fuel oil, hydraulic fluid, brackis h (river/sea) water, oily water, emulsified oil, slop oil and sludge mixed together. The after peak tank has a 33,000 gallon capacity. The contents of the material in the after peak tank shall be disposed of by the contractor in compliance with all curren t Environmental Protection Agency rules and regulations. Work to be performed at Fort Mifflin between the dates 13-26 January 2006. Work must be completed by 26 January 2006 in accordance with the terms and conditions of Request for Quotation Number W912BU -06-T-0018. Quotes are due by 24 January 2006 at 10:00 AM, local time. Faxed quotes are will be acceptable and can be faxed to 215-656-6798, Attention: Lane Gary. The acquisition will be procured in accordance with FAR Part 12, Commercial Services. No pape r solicitation will be issued. Contractors must register on the Internet and download RFQ package and all amendments from the following address: https://www.fedteds.gov on or after the issue date of the RFQ. Contractors are responsible for printing paper c opies of the solicitation and any amendments. No paper solicitation will be issued. If any contractor information changes during the advertisement period, contractors are responsible for making changes to their user profile on the Internet. Failure to do s o may cause a delay in receiving notice of the solicitation and/or any amendments. All contractors are required to be registered in the DODs Central Contract Register (CCR) before award as required by DFARS 204.7300.
