- The purpose of this Amendment Notice is to: ???Remove the second sentence of the second paragraph of the presolicitation notice as follows: FROM: The M4 Carbine & M16 A2/4 Rifle Suppressor provides a suppressor capability that will allow the Soldier to engage targets without being detected. It is desired that the flash from the suppressed weapon be equal to or less that the unsuppressed weapon. TO: The M4 Carbine & M16 A2/4 Rifle Suppressor provides a suppressor capability that will allow the Soldier to engage targets without being detected. ???Add information with regards to option quantities as follows: Initial Basic Quantity of fifty (50) each suppressors and four (4) options, with a maximum of 10,000 suppressors per option quantity. ???Add notification of Small Business Set-Aside. Numbered note 1 applies.
