Description

The National Cemetery Administration is soliciting proposals under Solicitation No. VA-786-06-RP-0025 for the following construction services: This design/build project requires that a State of Illinois licensed mechanical contractor design, provide, and install a new turnkey heating and cooling HVAC system for the Interment Building located at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood, IL. Project scope also includes system startup, system demonstration, a one (1) year system warranty on all components, and a 4 hour training session for cemetery staff. Pursuant to FAR 36.204, Disclosure of the Magnitude of Construction Projects, this construction project's estimated price range is as follows: Between $25,000.00 and $100,000. This is an unrestricted full and open competitive acquisition. All responsible contractors are encouraged to submit a proposal. The NAICS code is 238220 (Plumbing, Heating, and Air Condition Contractors). A copy of the solicitation may be obtained on the World Wide Web at FedBizOpps (www.fedbizopps.gov). Electronic solicitations will be available for download from FedBizOpps on or about February 3, 2006. Requests for hard copy of this solicitation must be in writing. Requests should be addressed to U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, National Cemetery Administration, Centralized Contracting Division (41D3A), Attn: Paul Daugherty, 5105 Russell Road, Quantico, VA 22134-3903. Please reference solicitation number VA-786-06-RP-0025 in your request. Hard copy solicitation will be available on or about February 3, 2006 via the ordinary mail. Responses to the solicitation are due by 2:30 PM, March 3, 2006. Any amendments to the solicitation will also be available at FedBizOpps. Contractors are advised that they are responsible for obtaining amendments. Numbered Note 1 applies.
