Description
Questions and answers from second site visit for F4D3D9520A200 remove and replace circuit breakers at facility 7315. Q) Will the wires from the terminal block to the junction box need to be replaced? A) Yes, it states in the Statement of Work that the contractor shall replace the existing control wiring from the existing junction box below the circuit breaker to the circuit breaker terminals. Q) Will the wires from the circuit breaker to the overhead junction be to short and need to be replaced? A) Possibly, but unknown at this time. Q) Will the contractor be responsible for replacing the two bent covers on the circuit breaker? A) Yes, contractor will be responsible for parts and labor of replacing the two bent covers. Q) Will contractor need to supply stud connectors for the new circuit breaker? A) Yes, it states in the Statement of Work that the contractor shall provide six bushing stud connectors for the new ABB circuit breaker. Additional items discussed – 1) Contractor will need to verify all wiring, on wiring diagrams, and “As Builts” drawings before connecting new circuit breaker. 2) Civil Engineering Squadron will provide the crane and necessary equipment to remove the old circuit breaker and place the new circuit breaker. 3) Civil Engineering Squadron will transport the old circuit breaker to the Exterior Electric shops storage facility. NOTE: THIS NOTICE MAY HAVE POSTED ON FEDBIZOPPS ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (06-DEC-2005).
