Description

CONTACT Peter Kozak, Electronic Engineer, (732) 532-8316. This is a Market Survey to obtain a reliable source for a future replenishment contract on a Tower which will have the same capabilities as our existing AB-216A/U TOWER. Currently our existing tower is unsafe for use and is in the verge of becoming obsolete. It has a CECOM p/n of AB-216A/U with a NSN: 5445-00-542-4561. This future buy will include the purchase of a Level III Drawing Package, the performance of a FAT (First Article Test), and th e provisioning of all necessary standard militarized TMs (Technical Manuals). The past source for the AB-216A/U TOWER was UPRIGHT INC., Cage 88900. Detailed technical data for the manufacture of the AB-216A/U TOWER is available from the Army along with th e existing TM (TM 11-5450-200-23P. Suppliers capable of furnishing an equivalent Tower must so indicate, by writing to Commander, CE-LCMC, ATTN: AMSEL-LC-COM-C-DT, Building 1202W, Ft. Monmouth, NJ 07703-5023. The response must include what capabilities the supplier has, such as manufacturing, testing, provisioning of TMs and provide references from previous contracts. Successful supplier may be required to warrant that the item supplied will satisfactorily perform when used for the purpose intended by the A rmy.
