Description
SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE: The 42d Contracting Squadron, Maxwell AFB, AL is contemplating the award of up to five Multiple Award Task Order Construction Contracts (MATOC?s). The MATOC?s are intended to cover a broad range of maintenance, repair, and construction services of real property (for example, carpentry, excavation, interior renovation, electrical, plumbing, painting, demolition, masonry, and HVAC). Work may potentially involve new construction of buildings or facilities to include some or all of the above elements of work. The performance area is Maxwell AFB and Gunter Annex, AL located in Montgomery, AL. The MATOC?s shall be for a performance period of one year with four additional one-year options. The anticipated maximum amount of each contract is estimated at up to $25 million for the life of the contract. The anticipated minimum amount of each contract is estimated to be $5,000 for the life of the contract. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) codes are 236220 ? Commercial and Institutional Building Construction and 236118 ? Residential Remodelers, each with a size standard of $28,500,000. All interested parities that have a home office located within a 200 mile radius of Maxwell AFB-Gunter Annex, AL are invited to respond. It is the government?s intent to award a total of five (5) contracts as a result of this solicitation. All of these awards are being considered for 8(a) small business concerns. Interested sources should notify our office in writing of their intention to submit a proposal as a PRIME contractor as early as possible, but no later than 03 February 2006. Your request should contain a written statement of interest to include the following: your company?s name, address, telephone number, point of contact, e-mail address, fax number, company size, and a general description of previous work experience. Firms responding will be checked through the SBA Pronet site HTTP://PRO-NET.SBA.GOV to verify 8(a) status. All prospective contractors must register in the central contractor?s registration (CCR) database and in the online representations and certifications application (ORCA) prior to award of a government contract. Registration for the CCR and ORCA can be accessed at www.bpn.gov. Offerors are further advised that failure to register in the DOD central registration database would render your firm ineligible for award.
