Description

Maintain and repair an installed Intrusion Detection System / Access Control System manufacturued by Vikonics at Whiteman AFB, Missouri. Work consists of, but is not limited to, inpsection, maintenance, testing, parts and repair. The contractor is requiried to be certififed/trained in the maintenance, installation and servicing fo the Vikonics Inc., Automated Entry Control System (AECS)/Intrusion Detection System (IDS). The performance period of this contract is anticipated to be a base period of one (1) year with (4) four options years. The NAICS code for the acquisition is 561621. The size standard for small business is $10.5 million. The solicitation will be issued as a Small Business (SB) Set-Aside. Evaluation will be based on Performance Price Tradeoff (PPT) procedures IAW FAR Part 15 ? Contracting by Negotiation. No paper copies of this solicitiation will be distributed on the Electronic Posting System (EPS) internet site only (http://www.fedbizopps.gov/) on or about 31 January 2006. All contractors must be registered in the Department of Defense Central Contractor Registration (CCR) Database prior to any contract award with the Government.
