Description: The VA Office of Research and Development (ORD) is currently seeking services to manage, maintain, and enhance the numerous information systems supporting current local and nationwide operation and the associated infrastructure. The service support will affect the four Resarch and Development (R&D) services under the Office of Research and Development, as well as the nationwide individual field-based local research offices. The R&D Computing Center (RDCC) network is located on the 4th floor of the Research and Development office at 103 S. Gay St., Baltimore, Maryland, 21202. The RDCC operates an Etherenet LAN running at 100 Mbps. In addition to supporting the resident or local staff, the RDCC supports over 115 Veterans Affairs Centers (VAMCs) R&D facilities nationwide.
