- This is a pre-solicitation notice for a firm, fixed-price contract to Replace the U.S. Capitol Complex Sidewalks, for the Architect of the Capitol, Washington, D.C. The contract work will be in the following locations: Rayburn House Office Building Sidewalks-AREA 1 (Base Bid) U.S. Capitol Sidewalk -AREA 2 (Base Bid) U.S. Capitol Sidewalk -AREA 3 (Base Bid) Russell Senate Office Building Sidewalks-AREA 4 (Base Bid) Hart Senate Office Building Sidewalks-AREA 5 (Base Bid) Dirksen Senate Office Building Sidewalks -AREA 6 (Base Bid) Cannon House Office Building Sidewalks-AREA 7 (Option 1) Capitol South Metro Station Sidewalks - AREA 8 (Option 2) U. S. Capitol Building Sidewalks-AREA 9 (Option 3) Square 685 Sidewalks-AREA 10 (Option 4) The solicitation will be issued on or about February 3, 2006. The due date for receipt of proposals is March 10, 2006. Requests for hard copies (including drawings) must be made to Chris Lindsay, Contracting Officer via fax to (866) 221-4147 or email at clindsay@aoc.gov. This solicitation will be available electronically at http://www.aoc.gov/business/procure-opps.cfm on the date of issuance. INTERESTED PARTIES ARE ENCOURAGED TO DOWNLOAD THE ELECTRONIC VERSION, AS THIS WILL EXPEDITE RECEIPT OF THE SOLICITATION. Date and time for a site visit will be determined later. The estimated magnitude of this project is between $600,000 and $700,000.
