Description: The Naval Air Systems Command expects to issue a firm fixed price modification to Northrop Grumman Systems Corporation under Contract N00019-05-C-0040 to upgrade the avionics of eight (8) Navy owned Chukar III Aerial Targets to make them compatible with the System for Naval Target Control (SNTC) command control system. Northrop Grumman is the designer, developer and sole producer of the Chukar III Aerial Target. Only Northrop Grumman has the technical expertise and access to proprietary technical data necesary to perform the required effort in the time frame required. This is not a request for proposal.
