Description

The U.S. Bureau of Reclamation,Central California Area Office intends to issue a Request for Quote (RFQ) 06SQ240026 for a firm-fixed price contract for chemical application of herbicides and other surfactants to the surface soils on project lands. The weed abatement activities will occur at Folsom, Nimbus and New Melones Projects. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 561730. The small business size standard is $6M. All work will be performed by a contractor licensed and permitted by the State of California Department of Agriculture. Contractor must be licensed and/or permitted to perform such activities by the Counties of Calaveras, Sacramento, and Tuolumne. The estimated issuance date of this solicitation and Statement of Work is January 20, 2006, and can be downloaded at http://ideasec.nbc.gov. The solicitation response date will be on or about February 1, 2006. Prospective contractors must be registered in Central Contractor Registration (CCR) prior to award.
