Description

This synopsis is published for informational purposes only. The Response Date of 3 February 2006 associated with this announcement is for posting purposes only; no response is required. Quantities stated below are estimated total requirements for the period ending 31 March 2006. It is anticipated that BPAs will be issued before 31 March 2006, with Request for Quotes (RFQs) for quantities to be included in initial Call Orders against these BPAs to be issued approximately 7 to 14 days later. Through 31 March 2006, the United States Army Communications Electronics Life Cycle Management Command (CE LCMC) anticipates purchasing the following components through Call Orders placed against multiple Blanket Purchase Agreements (BPAs) established under Request for Proposal (RFP) W15P7T-04-R-J204. These components are being acquired in support of CECOM Logistics and Readiness Center's 'Night Vision' spares program. The following purchase quantities (top-range) are anticipated: Magnifier Assembly, 5855-01-423-081 7, 5,000 units; Headset Assembly, 5855-01-246-8266, 15,000 units; Wired Housing Assembly, 5855-01-381-6048, 10,000; Mounting Bracket, 5340-01-446-8588, 20,000 units; Optical Cell, 5855-01-444-1231, 10,000 units; Rear Cover Assembly, 5855-01-246-6810, 10,00 0 units; Purge Device, 5855-01-246-6815, 150 units; Optical Lens Instrument, 6650-01-444-1212, 5,000 units; Headset Adapter, 5965-01-444-1216, 30,000 units; Light Interference Filter, 5855-01-379-1410, 15,000 units; MX 11620, 5855-01-398-6167, 3,000 units; Battery Retainer Cover, 6160-01-444-1208, 15,000 units;; Infrared Collimator, 5855-01-246-6808, 2,000 units; Battery Case Assembly (clip-on), 6135-01-447-8948, 4,000 units. For the Objective Mount Assembly, 5855-01-246-6807, 5,000 units and the Eyepiece A ssembly, 5855-01-380-5102, 10,000 units R&D Electronics, Inc. are given first priority due to their small disadvantaged business 8a status. Quantities and schedule that they can not meet will be available for all other firms to submit a proposal.
