Description

The VA Heartland Network 15 is looking for firms that are SDVOSB in the NAICS code 484110 to provide transportation services to haul clean and soiled laundry between the VA Medical Center, Leavenworth, KS and VA Medical Center, Wichita, KS and between the VA Medical Center Leavenworth, KS and VA Medical Center, Columbia, MO. The Leavenworth to Wichita KS consists of picking up clean laundry from the VAMC Leavenworth, hauling to VAMC Wichita, pickup soiled laundry from VAMC Wichita and hauling back to VAMC Leavenworth in one day (Mondays and Thursdays). The Leavenworth KS to Columbia, MO transport consists of picking up clean laundry from VAMC Leavenworth and hauling to VAMC Columbia; pickup soiled laundry from VAMC Columbia and hauling back to VAMC Leavenworth in one day (Tuesdays and Fridays). Contractor must be able to furnish drivers, tractors and two 45-foot trailers for each run. Please note that this is not a request for proposals, but is only seeking information to determine if there are enough SDVOSB for a set-aside.
