- The Virginia Contracting Activity, on behalf of the Defense Intelligence Agency/Missile and Space Intelligence Center (DIA/MSIC) intends to enter into a follow-on contract to procure a one year base contract with (4) option years for the maintenance, inspection, and repair services for the four (4) Comet 80kVA, one (1) 100kVA Uninterruptible Power Source (UPS) Systems, one (1) PMR and two (2) PMNs. The maintenance contract shall include, for the base year and for the option years, the following: one year of 24 hour Factory Technical Support, telephone support service and call management/assistance, with a maximum 30-minute callback time and 365 day availability. Annual preventive maintenance on units and semi-annual battery preventive maintenance to include component upgrades and field changes or modifications required to ensure efficient continuous operation of the system. Provide all diagnostic/test equipment, labor, parts, and replacement spare parts necessary for on-site repair of the UPS Systems with a guaranteed response time of four (4) hours. Replacement batteries shall be provided as a pro-rated cost and shall be installed at no additional cost. The Government intends to award a contract to Johnston Technologies, Inc. The manufacturer of this equipment has certified Johnston Technologies, Inc. as the maintenance representative for our geographical area. All other offerors must be a certified MGE maintenance representative. No RFQs or RFPs will be issued other than this notice. All offerors interested in submitting an offer must fax their proposals to MSIC, ATTN: Gary Markham, FAX 256-313-7963 NLT 20 January 2006. This is an urgent requirement and warranted a quick response time. Only FAXED proposals will be accepted.
