Description
Atlantic Coast of Maryland shoreline Protection Project, Berm Reconstruction Ocean City, Worcester County, Maryland is being advertised as an Invitation for Bid (IFB). Dredging approximately 850,000 yards of sand from offshore borrow areas and placin g on beach to specified lines and grades. NAICS Code is 237990 and Size Standard is $31,000,000.00. This procurement will contain Optional Items. Estimated cost of construction is between $5,000,000.00 and $10,000,000.00. Completion no later than 230 calen dar days. Large Businesses must submit a Subcontracting Plan in accordance with Section 00100 of the solicitation package. The Small Business Goals are 65% of the total value of subcontracted work. Of that 65%, 20% shall be with Small Disadvantaged Busines ses (SDB), 10% shall be with Women Owned Small Businesses (WOSB), 3% shall be with Historically Underutilized Businesses (HUB Zone), 3% shall be with Veteran Owned Small Businesses (VOSB) and 3% shall be Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDV OSB). All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the agency. Contractor's requests for this solicitation will be performed through ASFI. Contractors may register to be placed on the Bidders/Offerors mailing list by going to th e website: https://ebs.nab.usace.army.mil. The solicitation will be provided in an electronic format, free of charge, to all registered plan holders. The media through which the Government chooses to issue this solicitation is the Internet only. This solic itation will not be issued in paper. In order to reduce the possibility of error and to increase the quality of our service to you, all deliveries, packages, etc. must include the name of the particular project. All deliveries, packages, etc. of more than one box or container must be bound together by tape or other means. In order to comply with the Debt Collection Improvement Act of 1996, all contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) to be considered for award of a Federal contract. For information regarding future registration, contact CCR Web site at http://www.ccr.gov. Other information regarding registration can be obtained through CCR Assistance Center (CCRAC) at 1-888-227-2423 or 269-961-4725. A paper form for registr ation may be obtained from the DOD Electronic Commerce Information Center at 1-800-334-3414. It is imperative that all small disadvantaged businesses contact their cognizant Small Business Administration Office to obtain Small Disadvantaged Business Certif ication. Without SBA SDB certification, a prime contractor nor a federal agency can receive SDB credit when utilizing non-certified SDB contractors/subcontractors.
