- Description
- The Naval Oceanographic Office, Stennis Space Center, MS intends to award, on a sole source basis, a firm fixed price purchase order to BAE Systems National Security Solutions, Inc., Reston, VA, under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) and in accordance with FAR 6.302-1 Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Procedures of FAR 12 Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures will be utilized. The requirement is for renewal of software maintenance, technical support, and update service for commercial software manufactured by BAE Systems National Security Solutions, Inc. The resulting contract will be for a one year period. A written solicitation will not be issued. NAICS is 511210 with a business size of $23.0M. This synopsis is published for informational purposes only and is not a request for competitive offers. Any inquiries concerning this requirement are to be submitted in writing to the Contracting Officer. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. See Numbered Note 22.
