Description

See Numbered Note 22. The United States Army CommunicationsElectronics Life Cycle Management Command (C-E LCMC) intends to solicit and award a five-year Firm-Fixed-Price Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity type contract, including one five-year option, as a sole source action directed to Vaisala Inc., Woburn, MA in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, One Responsible Source. This acquisition is the follow-on contract to DAAB07-00-D-N409 and will enable delivery orders to be issued for replenishment spa re parts and depot maintenance repair and replacement of components to the AN/TMQ-41 Meteorological Measuring Sets (MMS) and AN/TMQ-52 MMS-Profilers (MMS-P). The cumulative maximum value of this acquisition is $10.0M, with a guaranteed minimum amount at t ime of contract award which has yet to be determined. NSN/Part Numbers Listed Below. For Repair/replacement, shipment terms are FOB Destination, Inspection/Acceptance at Origin, and turnaround time is 90 consecutive days from contractor receipt of inoper ative item to delivery back to the Government. For Replenishment, shipment terms are FOB Destination, Inspection/Acceptance at Destination, and delivery is 180 days from delivery order award. Packaging: Best Commercial Practices. The assigned solicitat ion number will be W15P7T-06-R-M003. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered by the Agency. The forecasted solicitation issuance date is 30 January 2006, with closure 30 days thereafter.
