Statement of Work Range Lead Residue Removal 1. Contractor shall provide all equipment, labor and materials necessary to remove lead from the small arms firing range on Minot AFB. This service is required to provide the proper collection and removal of lead material to allow uninterrupted use of the firing range. This service is estimated to be performed quarterly, but may be needed more or less frequently. 2. The lead removal will consist of empting or replacing (at no additional charge to the government) the (43) 3 gallon collection buckets. 3. The contractor will be responsible for the disposal of all lead and material. The work will be accomplished via all health and safety standards set forth by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration as well as any requirements set forth by the Environmental Protection Agency and state and local directives. Any visible spilled waste caused by the contractor will be cleaned by the contractor. Any contaminated cleaning materials will be removed by the contractor. 4. The contractor will ensure workers are trained and certified in lead removal up to or exceeding OSHA 29CFR 1910 or any other standards needed at the state or federal level. 5. The material will be removed and disposed of by the contractor. Every effort will be made by the contractor to recycle the lead accumulation. 6. Due to the limited amount of time available for range maintenance, the contractor will provide the service on the date requested by a range official.
