- The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) is soliciting for the performance of operations and maintenance services at DEA?s Aviation Operations Center located at Ft. Worth Alliance Facility, 2300 Horizon Drive, Ft. Worth, TX 76177. A fixed price contract is anticipated, but is subject to change. THIS IS A TOTAL SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE. The solicitation will be issued on or about January 27, 2006 and will be issued solely through the DEA?s acquisition website at http://www.usdoj.gov/dea/. Click on ?Acquisitions?, then on ?Open Solicitation?. Hardcopies of the RFP will not be available. Potential offerors will be responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation and any amendments. It is the offeror?s responsibility to monitor this website for the release of the solicitation and any amendments. This requirement is subject to the Service Contract Act (SCA) and therefore a U.S. Department of Labor wage determination (WD) will be a part of the solicitation document. DEA is not providing copies, so it is the responsibility of the offeror to get a copy of the WD. The WD number is 94-2513. The website is http://www.dolesa.gov/sf98/getwd.htm?wdid=26113. If internet capability is unavailable, contact the U.S. Department of Labor for a copy. The proposed contract will have a period of performance of one year and four one-year options, beginning on date of award through 365 days thereafter with for successive twelve month option periods. Security background investigations will be performed on contractor personnel. Questions/comments will be accepted and may be sent via regular mail, e-mail, or fax to the primary point of contact in this announcement. Questions/comments will be taken into consideration and incorporated into the solicitation, where appropriate, via amendments. No questions/comments will be accepted via telephone or before issuance of the solicitation. A pre-proposal site visit may be scheduled; the exact date and time will be specified into the solicitation. All sources may submit a proposal which will be considered. Se Note 1.
