- This is a Sources Sought synopsis. This is not a soliciation. The purpose of this synopsis is to identify other qualified sources prior to the release of any potential solicitation to procure the following Cryptographic COMSEC Equipment items: Best Estimated Quantity (BEQ) 23 each, MYK-16B, Ground Unit, Size 3.5"x19"x20", Weight: 23 lbs; BEQ 53 each, MYK-17B Ground Unit, Size: 3.5"x19"x20", Weight: 25 lbs. The current source for these Cryptographic COMSEC Equipment items is SafeNet Mykotronx, Inc., CAGE: 6S598, 357 Van Ness Way, Suite 200, Torrance CA 90501. Required Delivery: 90 days after reciept of contract. Detailed technical data and drawings for the manufacture of these Cryptographic COMSEC Equipment items are not available from the Government. Any interested source that can provide this requirement is invited to submit a written qualification package including the following information: 1) contractor name and phone number, 2) a brief statement detailing capabilities to provide such items, 3) a list of names and phone numbers of references to whom you have provided these items, and 4) type of business, large or small, and whether the company is U.S. or foreign owned. Interested sources are requested to submit a package by close of business (4:00 p.m. central time) on 20 January 2006. All data received in response to this announcement marked or designated as corporate or proprietary information will be fully protected from release outside the Government. Availability of any formal solicitation will be announced separately. The Sources Sought announcement is requested for informational purposes only. The Government will not pay for any materials provided in response to this synopsis and submittals will not be returned to the sender.
