Description

The U. S. Geological Survey, Florida Integrated Science Center WRD Fort Lauderdale, FL intends to make award on a sole source basis, to Intercounty Laboratories USL Inc., Miami, FL to drill and complete 12 test coreholes and 2 monitoring wells as part of the Everglades National Park Seepage Management Project. Research has determined that Intercounty Laboratories is the only drilling contractor in Florida that can provide 4.0" wire-line coring and a custom fit 4.0 inch diameter core barrel for undistorted extrusion of sediments. These requirements are deemed critical to ensure success of the project. There is no written solicitiation for this requirement. This award will be made on or about January 12, 2006 under the Simplified Acquisition Threshold. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 238990. THIS NOTICE IS FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY.
