Description

The work consists of furnishing all plant, labor, materials and equipment, and constructing the bank stabilization of 6,425 Feet on Jack Creek (BS-03-03) in Grenada County, Mississippi, and constructing the bank stabilization of 1,000 feet on Worsham Creek (BS-02-02) in Montgomery County, Mississippi. The principal features of work at each site include clearing and grubbing, excavation, debris removal, longitudinal peaked stone dikes with stone tiebacks, erosion control, willow planting, using the Go vernment-furnished software (RMS) for electronic exchange of information and management of the contract (See Section 01312 QUALITY CONTROL SYSTEM), complying with all requirements of Section 01452 MILESTONE COMPLIANCE REVIEW PROCEDURE (MCRP), storm water p ollution prevention and environmental protection. The estimated value of the proposed work is between $500,000.00 and $1,000,000.00. Plans and Specifications will be available on the Vicksburg Consolidated Contracting Office Web Page at http://www.mvk.u sace.army.mil/contract. Compact discs and hardcopies will not be available. Bidders should check the VCCO Web Page often for new solicitations and/or changes (AMENDMENTS) to existing ones. Issue date on or about 2 Feb 2006. BID OPENING DATE WILL BE SET BY AMENDMENT. THIS PROCUREMENT IS UNRESTRICTED AND ISSUED UNDER NAICS CODE 237990.
