- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR 12.6) as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitat ion; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. AMCOM intends to evaluate offers and award a contract(s) without discussions with offerors. However, the Government reserves the right to conduct discussions if later determ ined by the Contracting Officer to be necessary. Therefore, offerors' initial offer should contain their best terms from a price and technical standpoint. All prospective offerors must be actively registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) . Offerors may register online at https://www.bpn.gov/CCR/scripts/index.html. The solicitation consists of one Contract Line Item Number (CLIN 0001) , Quantity: 3,500, Unit of issue: 1 each, Description: Night Vision Green (NVG) Lens Cover, PN 8446 or co mmercial equivalent. Contract will be FFP, FOB Destination, Vesta, VA., Inspection and Acceptance to be performed at Destination. The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors - Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. Offerors are advised to include a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications - Commercial Items, with their offer. The clause at 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions - Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition.
