Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is being conducted as a 100% small business set-aside under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Parts 12 and 13 (test program). The North American Industrial Classification Code (NAICS) Number is 423710; and the size standard is 500 employees. This RFQ incorporates provisions and clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-08. Electronic FAR clauses and provisions can be accessed at http://www.arnet.gov. The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) intends to award a one-time firm-fixed price contract with one vendor (single award) under Request for Quote (RFQ) 0182457 for various detection and training supplies. Minimum salient characteristics for each item are intended to be descriptive, not restrictive, and to indicate the quality and characteristics that are deemed satisfactory to the FBI. Warranty information shall be included for all products. Delivery of all products shall be 30 days after receipt of order. Due date for receipt of quotes is Tuesday, January 24, 2006 at 2:00PM EST. All quotes will be considered. Faxed or e-mailed quotes will be accepted. The provision at FAR Clause 52.212-1. Instruction to Offerors (JAN 2006) and addendum are incorporated into this solicitation. Addendum to 52.212-1, Modify: b) Submission from offer (s) is to read as follows: ?Submit signed and dated offer(s) to the attention of Ms. Renee L. Commercial Items (JAN 1999) is included by reference. This requirement will be awarded to the low price technically acceptable (LPTA) offeror. Clause 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications (MAR 2005) is applicable. Please include a copy of this provision with your quotation. As prescribed in FAR 12.301 (b) (2), an offeror shall complete only paragraph (j) of the 52.212-3, if they have successfully completed the annual representations and certifications via the online website at http://orca.bpn.gov. Clause 52.212-4. Contract Terms and Conditions ? Commercial Items (SEP 2005) applies to this acquisition.
