Description

Contractor shall provide a 12 month lease, including repairs, maintenance and spare parts for (8) ISO Explosion Proof Refrigerated Containers to be located and used at Defense Depot Richmond, VA 23297. The inside dimensions of each container shall be 8? high, 7?6? wide and 37?4? long. The refrigeration system for each container must operate on 220/230 volts, 60 Hz, 3 phase electrical power with surge/phase protection. The refrigeration capability of each container must maintain a nominal 58 degrees Fahrenheit (+/- 4 degrees). All units must be from the same manufacturer and utilize the same design and components. Each container must have a Partlow Chart Recorder that has the capability to continuously record the inside temperature of the container for a 31 day period. Containers must be configured with an electrical conduit access hole through each container wall to accommodate a Government furnished environmental monitoring system and a Government furnished regulated nitrogen supply system inside each container. The Contractor shall be responsible for the installation of the Government furnished environmental monitoring system and the Government furnished regulated nitrogen supply system. The Contractor shall deliver all (8) ISO Explosion Proof Refrigerated Containers FOB destination to Defense Depot Richmond, VA 23297. The Contractor will be responsible for the initial set-up of all containers, the installation of the Government furnished environmental monitoring system and the installation of the Government furnished nitrogen supply system. The Government will provide resources to transfer the materials presently being stored in the (8) ISO Explosion Proof Refrigerated Containers located at Defense Depot Richmond, VA. The Contractor shall have all containers set up and fully operational within 45 days after receipt of contract award. The Contractor shall provide disconnection and removal of each container(s) within 30 days after receipt of appropriate notice by the Government or within 30 days upon expiration of the contract. Duration of contract is one year with option to extend the terms of the contract for an additional 48 months.
