- The Naval Air Systems Command intends to issue a delivery order on a sole-source basis under Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) N00019-03-G-0003 with Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation (SAC), the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) of the United States Navy Heavy-Lift Helicopter, CH-53E Super Stallion. The anticipated work to be performed will include non-recurring engineering support for incorporation of updated designs and process improvements into numbers 1 and 3 prototype nacelles engine panels, development of an Engineering Change Proposal (ECP) and production of 20 prototype nacelles panels. SAC is the only known source with the knowledge, experience, expertise, and proprietary technical data required to successfully perform these tasks. This synopsis is for informational purposes only.
