Description
US SOUTHERN COMMAND (JTF)-GTMO, at US Naval Station (USNS) Guantanamo Bay, Cuba has a requirement for services in support of JTF surveillance and security cameras. Contractor will be required to provide new camera and controller installation, preven tative maintenance, troubleshooting, urgent repair, and informal training. Camera and controller systems are running 24-7, 365 days a year and support services must be available on site, with at least one technician physically present on the island at all times. The majority of equipment to be supported is Panasonic, Ademco, and Kaletel. The equipment list below is not all-inclusive, as each camp is set up differently. Some camps have racks, power supplies, and other small pieces of equipment: PTZ Cameras-157; Keyboard/toggle-13; Monitors-60; Switchers-17; 16 input w/DVR-17. The contractor must be versed in the latest hardware technology and applications and will be able to advise on platforms to meet mission requirements and maintain latest technology and surveillance/security requirements. The contractor will assist the gov ernment in planning future long-range technical upgrades supporting all camera equipment. It will involve determining proper location and installation. The contractor will have the technical experience and acumen to plan future reconfigurations of the ca meras and supporting equipment where necessary and prudent. CONTRACT TYPE. One-Year Firm Fixed Price with Two Options Years PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE: The period of performance shall be one year from date of award with two subsequent one-year options to be exercised at the discretion of the government. PLACE OF PERFORMANCE: USNS Guantanamo Bay, Cuba SECURITY REQUIREMENTS: All contractors supporting this effort shall have current / valid security clearances commensurate with their assigned duties (e.g., Secret) clearances. The contractor will furnish to the government copies of Non-Disclosure Agreemen ts (NDAs) required by DoD Directive 5105.21-M-1 prior to employee arrival at USNS GTMO. Contractor personnel may be required to submit to random drug testing and/or polygraph examination. All contractor personnel shall comply with the provision of the 25 2.223.7004 Drug Free Work Force clause in 48 CFR Part 252, pertaining to drug testing program. The contractor shall comply with the provisions of appropriate DD Forms 254 Department of Defense Contract Security Classification Specifications, and such othe r security regulations and directives binding on the contractor in the performance of this effort. Best Value determination will be based on Past Performance and Price.
