- The Marine Corps Systems Command intends to negotiate a sole source contract with Vermont System Services for an automated Child and Youth Management Information System (CYMS). Vermont Systems, Inc. completed the initial implementation of CYMS, which consisted of installing the software applications at MCAS Yuma and MCAS Cherry Point. The estimated value of the contract is $816,288.00 and the period of performance is one base year and four one-year option periods. The objective is to continue implementation of a COTS information system, customized to interface with USMC specific applications and reporting requirements, to manage and control various activities of the Marine Corps Children, Youth, and Teen Programs. RecTrac, developed by Vermont Systems, Inc., serves as the recreation management information system for implementation throughout Marine Corps Semper Fit and Recreation Business Operations facilities. The RecTrac software provides a database of demographic information and usage data and improves customer service consistency through standardized automated recreation program management. The CYMS is a software modules that integrates to, exploits, capitalizes, and functions with the existing RecTrac system sharing the same centralized client/server environment to met the requirements of CYMS with minimal customization. No RFP is available for competitive bidding; however, interested parties are encouraged to submit a statement of capability for satisfying this requirement within 15 days of this announcement to the contact person listed above.
