- Description
- This is a design-build project with performance and prescriptive requirements provided by the Government. The anticipated estimated range of construction is from $5,000,000 to $10,000,000. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 236220, average annual receipts of $31.0M over the past three years. The work involves the design and construction of a fire station at Marine Corps Base, Camp H. M. Smith, Oahu, Hawaii. The work is primarily as follows: Design and construction of a fire station facility, anti-terrorism force protection, fire protection, site improvements, pavements/roadways, utility connections, communications, LAN system, demolition, hazardous material abatement and incidental related work. This is a source selection procurement requiring both technical and price proposals. Contract award will be made to the offeror proposing the best value to the Government from a technical and price standpoint. The technical evaluation factors, when combined, are considered approximately equal to price. Technical evaluation factors may be substantially as follows: (1) Past Performance; (2) Experience of the Firm and Experience and Qualifications of Key Personnel; (3) Work Plan/Project Schedule; and (4) Small Business Utilization. The Request for Proposal (RFP), CD-ROM will be available on or about 17 January 2006 for a non-refundable charge of $67.92. INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW TO OBTAIN A COPY OF THE CD-ROM IS PROVIDED IN NOTICE NO. 1 TO THIS SOLICITATION. SEE NAVFAC ESOL WEBSITE AT http://www.esol.navfac.navy.mil FOR NOTICES. ANY REQUEST FOR SOLICITATION RECEIVED WITHIN 10 WORKING DAYS PRIOR TO THE CLOSING DATE WILL BE PROCESSED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE ABOVE PROCEDURES.
