Description

The National Park Service, Sequoia and Kings Canyon, is soliciting proposals on a full and open competitive basis from qualified organizations to enter into a firm fixed price contract for refuse collection and removal service in Kings Canyon National Park, CA. The work consists of providing all labor, equipment, and material necessary to collect and dispose of all solid waste in the administrative area, campgrounds, and residential areas of the Grant Grove area. The contract will be awarded for one base year and four one year option periods to be exercised at the discretion of the government. The base year and each option period will be awarded and exercised subject to the availability of each fiscal year's funds. The National Park Service welcomes the participation of small, minority, and women owned enterprises. Solicitation number N8564060509 will be available for download at http://ideasec.nbc.gov on or about January 16, 2006. Subscribers to this service are ultimately responsible for reviewing the above web site for all information relevant to this solicitation. Prospective offerors desiring to conduct business with DOI are requested to register at the Central Contractors Register (CCR) on the internet at http://www.ccr.gov. No hard copies of the solicitation will be mailed. Submission of the proposal will be on or around February 16, 2006.The NAICS Code for this project is 562111, with a size standard of $11.5 million. The Government anticipates an award of a firm fixed price contract with a magnitude between $100,000 and $250,000.
