Description

TO PROCURE one (1) service contract to maintain and repair a Philips X-ray analyzer, Model MagiX (S/N Dy1511) for 12 months (22 Jan 06 to 21 Jan 07). NAICS: 423450, SIC: 3826, FSC: 6640, SIZE STANDARD 500 employees. The government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(2) and FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(i). This synopsis is being published for informational purposes only. The proposed source is Panalytical Inc. Please contact for specifications. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations. However, the government will consider any quotations received within 10 days of the issuance of this notice. The purpose of the sole source justification is to cover the open market portion. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Any quotations should be e-mailed to Lt.
