- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The Government intends to negotiate a firm fixed price contract with Pacific Nanotechnolgy Inc, Santa Clara, California for a Nano R Atomic Force Microscope (AFM) to include the necessary components for a general purpose AFM to meet the needs of both biological and physical sciences applications. See Note 22*. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are not being requested. This notification is being conducted under the procedures of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Parts 12 and 13. NAICS Code: 334516. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals; however, interested persons may identify their interests and capability to respond to this requirement by sending a fax to 202-324-0570 or cmarkard@leo.gov. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Evaluations and the determination as to functionality of the equipment shall be the responsibility of the Government and will be based on information furnished by the vendor. The Government reserves the right to request an on-site equipment demonstration of the capability of the product at no cost to the Government. FOB: Destination Quantico, Virginia. Delivery within 60 days after receipt of order. This is not a request for competitive proposals. *Note 22 with a change to reflect 15 day notification. No telephone calls will be accepted.
