Description

The National Institute of Standards and Technology has an ongoing requirement for transformer and surge suppression equipment maintenance. The Government anticipates a contract for a base period of one year and four (4) one year option periods. The Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, and supervision to provide support services in accordance with the Performance Work Statement(s). The solicitation number is SB1341-06-R-0005. THIS REQUIREMENT IS A FULL AND OPEN ACQUISITION THERE IS NO SET ASIDE. The NAICS code is 221122, Electric Power Distributions Systems. This competitive procurement will be conducted using negotiated procedures under the authority of FAR Part 15, Contracting by Negotiation. The solicitation, Request for Proposal (RFP) is anticipated for release to the vendor community on or about December 28, 2005 and will only be available via the internet at http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. The RFP, all attachments, RFP amendments, and questions and answers related to the procurement shall only be available via the Internet. Potential offerors are responsible for accessing the website. Interested parties must respond to the solicitation in order to be considered for award of any resultant contract. There is no written solicitation available.
